Applying international food safety standards to Russia: myth or reality?
The Forum’s objective is to provide an effective platform for the discussion of outstanding issues related to food quality management at all stages of the food supply chain starting from quality control for raw materials and manufacturing base up to retail outlets. The Forum will cover international experience and Russian practices in food quality.
The event will gather food market players: retail chains, food manufacturers, raw materials and packaging suppliers, wholesale distributors, catering and HoReCa players.
Already confirmed their participation: retailers METRO, Auchan, SPAR, Magnit, Kopeyka, Lenta, Fozzy Group, catering operators McDonald’s, Rosinter, Sbarro, manufacturers Wimm-Bill-Dann, Russian Standard, Russian product, Yug Rusi, Unilever, Ehrmann, Efko, Bunge, Cargill, Coca-Cola and many others.
The Forum’s agenda will focus on the following subjects:
- Global trends in risk and quality management in the modern food market
- Complex approach while assuring food quality and safety
- International requirements towards Quality Management Systems (QMS). Key principles of ISO 9001
- Fundamentals of food safety standards in relation to processing industry: HACCP, ISO 22000
- International requirements towards quality systems imposed by retailers on food producers/suppliers. BRC and IFS standards
- Applying GLOBALGAP and ORGANIC standards in agriculture
- Food quality: how to demarcate responsibilities between manufacturer and retail chain?
The Forum will culminate in the Master-Class «Building food safety management system on production site». All Forum’s participants will receive a relevant certificate.
